Introduction:
Our blog is growing. We will be creating new icons like the ones on this page for popular categories. Other categories can be clicked on the Category Widget on the Right >>>>> side of the page. You can use the Feeds link to create an RSS feed to any category you would like to follow. To see all categories please click the Posts menu option.
Registration:
Join the blog if you would like to contribute to various categories of interest. Just click Register on the right side Widget. An email will be sent to you with your password. You can modify your password any time after you login. You will start out as a Contributor. This means your posts will need to be approved before they go live. If we see that you are a responsible and interesting Contributor you will be granted Author privileges. You will then be able to post whenever you want and have more controls in your admin area.
New to Blogs?
If you are new to blogging it can be a bit confusing when you login. Do not let that intimidate you. It is easier than you think. Simply follow these instructions.
- Login and Click Posts. A drop down appears where you can Add New. You will see other people’s posts but you cannot edit or delete them.
- Fill in a Title then type whatever you want in the body area.
- Select a Category check box on the right side of the screen. If no category exists check Uncatorgorized. The administrators may create one for you.
- You may also want to add Title, Description and Keywords near the bottom of your admin screen.
- Click the blue Update or Submit for Review button depending on your authorization level.
- Click the Preview to make sure your post looks the way you want it to look.
