Decision Rendered by Judge Susan Bolton on Arizona Immigration Law
Judge is granting in part and denying in part an injunction against the Arizona immigration law set to take affect tonight at midnight.
Judge allows Arizona officers to question immigration status but does not allow the state to make it mandatory they do so.
Judge also blocks indefinite detention of illegal immigrants.
Judge blocks the section of the Arizona law that prevents illegal immigrants to seek work.
Judge allows churches, priests, pastors and ministers to be prosecuted for smuggling illegal aliens.
Judge allows Arizona to make “Sanctuary Cities” illegal in the state.
One of the main reasons for the ruling by the judge is the Federal system would be overwhelmed if certain provisions in the law were allowed to go into affect.
The bottom line:
The law will go into affect at midnight tonight with injunctions against the areas of the law that give it teeth. Appeals are expected and commentators believe it will reach the Supreme Court in about a year.
The population of Mexico is around 106 million. That means at least 1 in 10 live here in the US illegally since the low estimate is 12 million illegals. No,I’m not forgetting that some illegal aliens come from other countries. The higher estimate is 20 million illegal aliens. I’d say it is safe to estimate one in ten Mexicans lives in the US illegally.
I wonder what would happen if we just declared war on the drug cartels in Mexico and occupied it. Maybe we could then get control of the situation. It would probably be more worthwhile than fighting a war overseas.
Well, we can tell it must have gone the way of the open borders crowd wanted it to. It is reported that Mexico is very happy with the ruling. I guess if we could send all our poor people to Canada then Americans would be happier too.
Ahh, maybe there is the solution. Instead of deporting illegal Mexicans we can send them across a larger border to the north. I wonder how Canada would deal with 12 to 20 million more people sucking off their socialized medicine and taking all their social program money.
The population of Canada is around 33 million. They can’t afford their socialized medicine now. They would have to add Spanish to the French and English they have in Quebec.
I can’t think of any other situation where if the federal government could not do something they would care if the states did it. You would think they would love the help in rounding up folks that are here illegally.
That sheriff in Arizona that is always on the news seems to have the answer. Set up holding areas in the desert with tents and barbed wire. Before you think that is inhumane remember that is how our military lives in the deserts of Iraq and Afghanistan.
All this seems to show the Federal government needs an overhaul of priorities. Just think what could happen if we put a stop to illegal immigration.

2. Save billions of dollars on health care for illegals.
3. Save billions on social services for illegals.
4. Save unknown dollars spent to put illegals in prison.
5. Save unknown dollars educating illegal alien children.
6. Save unknown dollars making everything bi-lingual.
I’m not against the people of Mexico and other countries. Having been all around the world I have to ask who wouldn’t want to live here. Our poor are better off than many countries middle class. I’m just against a government that doesn’t think this is a top priority to get our economy back on track. You can’t do ANYTHING until you secure the border to the south.
